Our range of teas was born from the collaboration with Julien, who is based 5 km from our workshop, and who specializes in importing exceptional Japanese teas.

Just like our Binchotan, the teas are imported directly by Julien from Japanese artisans (who have been producers for four generations). There are therefore no intermediaries between him and the artisans, ensuring unparalleled freshness.

All varieties are sourced from plot to cup.

This tea therefore has nothing to do with the Japanese tea found elsewhere.

Here we offer you this Sencha green tea, enhanced with rose and mallow petals. Its low caffeine content makes it suitable for enjoying at any time of day.

Just by opening the sachet, you can enjoy its delicious fragrance.

Its floral and aromatic taste is comforting, very smooth and without bitterness, making it enjoyable at any time of day. It can be used both hot and cold.

As restful for the body as for the mind, flower petals make tasting very poetic and invite inner peace.

Indeed, mallow has soothing and calming properties, while rose brings comfort.

Sencha green tea (煎茶 literally "infused tea") accounts for 80% of Japanese green tea production. It is harvested in the spring, making it a light and refreshing tea.

After harvesting, the leaves are steamed to stop oxidation, then they are dried.

THE PRODUCTION OF SENCHA TEA:

This tea is entirely made in Japan:

- Harvesting (Tekisai) : This takes place in the spring. The leaves are sorted to remove impurities and damaged parts.

- Steaming (Josei) : the leaves are steamed, which stops their oxidation (unlike Chinese teas which are roasted). This traditional Japanese method preserves the chlorophyll and green color of the tea as well as all its antioxidants.

- Drying (Tencha) : the steamed leaves are then dried (<50 °C).

- Blending : the dried leaves are then mixed with dried rose and mallow petals, which will bring a light floral taste and a delicious smell to the tea.
